Christmas Decoration

This is the season to spread some Sparkle

Gorgeous Pink Christmas tree

Why not??? Pink is a great color it is a fun color and honestly… I think I am obsessed with Pink Christmas Trees. I recently did one and it was so much fun to hunt for all the pink ornaments. Which surprisingly enough were scarce. The request was to make a Barbie-inspired Christmas Tree and I figured: “easy” as everything this summer was so Barbie-inspired after the movie hit the theater that I thought Christmas would be too.

Oh! Surprise, I had a hard time as the trend this year seems to be a classic Christmas. The shops were filled with beautiful ornaments and decorations but all in red, gold, and white. Very few ornaments in different colors! And the general Christmas décor was very much in the traditional colors.I really had to hunt for pink ornaments and it was no easy task but it was a lot of fun, almost like an easter egg hunt but this time for Christmas.

I ordered the pink Christmas tree on Amazon  which as you know only takes a few days to arrive. The excitement when I saw it!! The tree is about 90 cm tall and comes in three parts that need to be put together, which was super easy. Normally you would think that such a small tree would only need small ornaments but the truth is that you need to mix the sizes and include some big ones to give the tree depth otherwise it feels flat and boring.

Adding a Splash of PInk perfection to this holiday Season

I can’t complain I did get plenty of Pink ornaments and balls and I used them all. As I said before I hung some of the very big ones on the tree and loved the result and the rest I used them at the base of the tree, to cover the not-so-nice feet.

The tree ended up looking spectacular, elegant, and fun!!! And my friend loved it which made it all the much better.

Pink Christmas Tree with red DecoratioN

Oops, I did it again! I was so in love with the tree I had made that I decided to get one for my daughters. This time I decided to play with one of my favorite combinations: red and pink. And I have to say that I am very pleased with the result. For this tree, I used some Steiff stuffed animals and other Christmas decorations such as a musical box and a snow globe. It looks so cute and the girls loved it! They still want a real Christmas tree.
