Vibrant shared Girl’s Room
Spring Update in Neon colors
How to add color in a girl’s room without paint
We just finished redesigning a shared girl’s bedroom into a neon wonderland! It was such a fun and creative project to work on, and we are thrilled with how it turned out. The room is bursting with energy and personality, just like the girls who live in it.
Making a Shared Room colorful
The challenge this time was to add a splash of color while keeping the furniture and walls neutral.
We started by choosing a color scheme that focused on neon pink, with touches of turquoise and yellow, which were the girl’s favorite colors. We then painted the walls white to serve as a blank canvas for the neon accents, and we kept the large pieces such as the beds, closets and desks white as well to contrast the power and brightness of the accents.
To tie it all together, we layered on different textures and patterns to create depth and interest. We added neon tape to the little wooden houses that serve as shelves. We painted the edges of a whiteboard in neon pink and used gold letter stickers to create a task board for each of the kids. We also added some fluffy neon pillows and other decorative accents.
Private Space in A shared room
The girls added their own touch by making colorful pom-poms out of yarn and sewing them to the curtains that we used to give them a little more privacy in their homework area. Loft beds are a great way to create a private space for each child. By raising the bed, you can create an area underneath for a desk or play area. This can also be a fun and unique way to give each child their own space.
Sleeping & Working Area
The result is a room that is playful, vibrant, and full of life. It’s a space where the girls can express themselves and feel inspired to follow their dreams. We are so happy to have been a part of this project, and I can’t wait to see how they enjoy their new neon paradise!
