Transforming a Girl’s Room with a Stylish remodel

We love this girl’s bedroom transformation, it turned out amazing! We incorporated her favorite colors and interests into the design to create a personalized space that truly reflects her unique style. From new bedding and curtains to a stylish desk and a fun swinging chair, this room now feels like a true sanctuary. It’s so rewarding to see how the right design changes can make such a big difference in how someone feels about their space. Happy to have been a part of this special project!

how important ZONING is in Small Rooms

When designing a kid’s room, one of the most important factors to consider is zoning. Zoning is the process of dividing a room into different areas for specific functions, and it can help create a flowing layout that maximizes the use of space. Especially in small space! Once the functions have been identified, it’s important to create clear boundaries between them. The challenge in small rooms is to integrate the zones and still keep them defined. This can be done with furniture placement, rugs, and other decor items. We created three zones:

In addition to zoning and storage, color and lighting can also play a big role in creating a flowing layout and a cohesive aesthetic in a kid’s room. Using light colors can make a small space feel larger, while bold colors can add interest and personality. Good lighting is also essential to creating a comfortable and functional space.

Study area in a Kid’s Room

As study area, where she can do her homework as well as arts and crafts. Another important factor to consider when designing a child’s room is storage. Kids have a lot of stuff, and it’s important to have enough storage space to keep everything organized. This can be achieved by incorporating storage solutions such as shelves, cabinets, and bins into the design.

Sleep & Chill-Out Area in a Kid’s Room

We transformed her bed into a sort of a couch where she can hang out with friends or just simply chill.

Fun Zone in a Girl’s Room

Here, we incorporated a few things that any girl would love. We used a hanging chair to add a playful element that the she can also use to read her favorite books or talk to her friends. And we created a wall for all things beauty, where she has a mirror that houses all of her jewelry and makeup and next to which she can hang more jewelry or her scarves.
